Villa Anarvar

The artistic employer creates an attractive atmosphere in the design process.

The old videographer of his life was connected to frames.

So the main concept became the frame.

A small family with an open companions, from nightclubs and family outings. Therefore, the need for public spaces in this villa was prioritized.

On the bedroom floor, we removed the living room, so that the centerpiece of the first–floor living room is in front of the wood–burning fireplace. The height of the windows was doubled to normal, so we could have a nice view of the sky and the tops of the forest mountains without any limitation.

The employer is very interested in the original Iranian architecture, especially the Shemroon gardens house. For this reason, the design led to balance, symmetry, four–sided metal gable roof, height, brick, etc. The geographical location and the surrounding environment of the project imposed things on us.

Like the crooked rain of Mazandaran, sunshine, wind, etc that were analyzed to control the sloping rain of the west, we placed the main high terrace in the west which was the space for summer overnight stays. Opposite, to the east of the building, was the duplex stairs with tall windows that open to the east. When the sun rises, the light enters the living spaces as beautifully as possible from the side of the wooden stairs.

In short, the experience of being in every space of this villa in 360-degree rotation and seeing unique frames of the sea, forests, and citrus orchards.
